What you'll do: This person builds the robust, scalable brains behind Arcade's automated game creation workflow. They architect and deploy advanced AI pipelines and multi-agent systems that turn prompts into fully playable 3D games. They own AI infrastructure on GCP/Vertex while working hands-on with game logic and 3D rendering engines. They will design and implement multi-agent systems that generate complete games from logic scripting to scene design; create DSL architectures to translate unstructured LLM reasoning into deterministic playable 3D environments; handle context management, multi-turn memory, and fine-tuning via Vertex AI; integrate and orchestrate Claude and Gemini for tool use and planning; deploy, manage, and scale AI applications on GCP; and connect AI outputs to real-time rendering engines. What we're looking for: Arcade is looking for someone with a proven track record building production-ready LLM and agentic applications, strong GCP/Vertex AI expertise, and experience with Three.js, WebGL, WebXR, or a willingness to dive deeply into 3D scene graphs, spatial reasoning, and game logic. They should have shipped systems with frontier models like Claude and Gemini; be skilled in context optimization, strict JSON enforcement, and function calling; use a heavily AI-augmented workflow; build fast in small teams; and be perfectly fluent in written and spoken English.
