AI Video Data Collection & Preprocessing Assistant 1-Month Contract | SF Bay Area, CA | Fieldwork Alchedata AI is hiring 2-3 highly organized and detail-oriented assistants to support a 1-month commercial computer vision data collection project. This is a short-term contract role starting in August. It is a strong opportunity for candidates with a background in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields to gain hands-on experience in the foundational stage of the AI pipeline: raw data ingestion and data pipeline compliance. No professional filming experience is required. The company will provide training on the data collection protocols. Role Details Location: SF Bay Area, CA, fieldwork Duration: 1 month, short-term contract starting in August Pay: $20 - $25 per hour Openings: 2-3 assistants Equipment: All required data collection hardware and camera gear will be provided by the company About the Project The project supports commercial computer vision data collection. Assistants will operate company-provided camera equipment in designated field locations, follow structured data collection SOPs, and manage daily video data ingestion, organization, and labeling. Key Responsibilities - Execute field data collection by operating company-provided camera equipment in designated locations. - Strictly follow structured data schemas and collection SOPs, including angles, resolution, and metadata framing. - Manage daily data ingestion: transfer, organize, and systematically label large video datasets based on specific naming conventions. - Support clean, consistent, and compliant data handling for downstream AI workflows. Requirements - Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and organized. - Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; data integrity is critical. - Background in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is preferred. - Able to communicate effectively in English. - Mandarin speaking ability is a plus. - Must have a valid US driver's license and clean driving record. - Personal car is not required, but candidates must know how to drive. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. - Must be willing to sign a standard commercial IP and data release agreement.
