I'm Fu Cheng (付铖), based in Shanghai. I'm building softopia.ai, splats.ai and wodex.ai. Before that I was CPO at MuleRun (an AI agent marketplace — mulerun.ai / mulerouter.ai / muleteam.ai), founder & CEO of Builtopia, and a VP at Manycore Tech / Coohom Cloud. I studied software engineering at Zhejiang University and I write in Chinese about AI economics — software ownership, AI-native organizations, where SaaS goes from here.
I'd like to meet people working on agent infrastructure in two places specifically: Shanghai and the SF Bay Area. Concretely that means agent runtimes and orchestration, LLM routing and inference plumbing, agent distribution and marketplaces, tool/MCP ecosystems, and evaluation or reliability layers for agents. Builders and operators over pure researchers — I'm most useful to people who are shipping.
Not looking to hire and not raising. This is peer-to-peer: compare notes on what's actually working, argue about where the margin goes, and stay in touch. Happy to start with a message and move to a 30-minute call. I work in both Chinese and English.
