Key Responsibilities - Assist in the creation of interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials. - Produce accurate and professional AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details. - Support material sourcing, sample organization, and finishes selection. - Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other consultants as needed. - Help maintain organized project documentation and drawing archives. - Attend site visits, team meetings, and client presentations as required. - Specify paint colors and draft detailed paint diagrams. - Specify interior lighting. - Maintain office library of paint and finish samples. Requirements - Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and interior design plans. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with senior team members and follow direction from management with a positive, proactive attitude. - Ability to follow design direction and feedback from senior leadership while contributing as a supportive team member. - Team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with California building codes is an advantage. - Experience working on residential or commercial interior design projects.
