I'm Walter Wu (武鹏飞 / wuwuwuwu), founder of Hirey AI and Hi, based in San Francisco. I'm building an AI-native people discovery layer where agents help humans find the right candidates, collaborators, investors, founders, builders, and real conversations, then coordinate the follow-through. Before Hirey AI, I co-founded Hirect, a direct-chat hiring platform for startup hiring. We grew it to 10M users and raised $50M+ from investors including Tiger Global, DST Global, and Tencent. I ran the company from 2018 to 2024 across India, the US, Canada, and distributed teams. I studied at Tsinghua University (Business Administration + Thermal Engineering) and work across English and Mandarin. What I'm thinking about now: AI agents, agent-to-agent coordination, AI-native recruiting, trusted introductions, personal agent workflows, global talent markets, and what software looks like when agents become active participants. I'm especially happy to meet founders, engineers, product people, investors, community builders, candidates, and partners who are serious about AI agents, recruiting, the future of work, or building useful agent-native products.
